About this event
LifeScience Links is a professional learning experience that provides seventh-grade life science teachers updated content knowledge, engaging strategies, and authentic lab experiences. Held on the campus of HudsonAlpha, a leading genomics research institute, educators leave the workshop equipped to link Course of Study Standards to real-world biotech applications and careers.
LifeScience Links will be held July 11-14, 2022, at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.*
Eligible educators will spend four full-days at HudsonAlpha, focusing on connecting content to biotech careers and learning from leading researchers, scientists and educators.
*HudsonAlpha seeks to provide a safe environment for all our participants and team members. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in our region to make a best-informed decision about holding in-person programming for Summer 2022. We will notify our participants if we are unable to host face-to-face activities.
Across all of our programs, HudsonAlpha will follow best-practices for gathering safely. These practices may change based on recommendations from health officials, but currently include reducing overall capacity, social distancing, and masking in public spaces. Failure to comply with safety precautions will result in removal from the program.
